MS. HANI ADBI GEDI – C.E.O

Ms. Hani Abdi Gedi is the defacto CEO of the NGO; she is primarily mandated to provide training, planning, facilitation and evaluation. Likewise, she is well skilled at training need assessment and prioritization. Besides this, she can design training curriculum development, need assessment as well as conduct analysis of research data. Moreover, she can record and report the project research. Due to her intra-personality, she can build a good rapport and manage conflict as well as negotiate with stakeholders.

MR. AHMED MOHAMUD HUSSEIN – CFO

Mr Ahmed Mohamud Hussein is the CFO of the NGO. With a deep Understanding of the unique challenges faced by development organizations operating in resource-constrained environments, Ahmed brings a wealth of experience to his role as the Defacto CFO of the Pastoralists Society of ASAL Network (PSAN).Most importantly, he can coordinate and build networks with national and international organizations and collaborate with them for program implementation, for programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the sustainability as well as feasibility of programmes.

MR. KEVIN KIOGORA MURIUNGI – Dev. Profession

Mr. Kevin Kiogora Muriungi is a seasoned development professional with a passion for rural development and community empowerment. With extensive experience in the ASAL regions, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board of directors of the Pastoralists Society of ASAL Network (PSAN). His strategic thinking and commitment to social justice will undoubtedly contribute to PSAN’s mission of improving the lives of pastoralist communities.

MS. QURESHA MOHAMUD HUSSEIN – Advocate

Ms. Quresha Mohamud Hussein is a dedicated advocate for the rights and welfare of pastoralist communities in Kenya. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these communities, she has emerged as a leading figure in the field of sustainable development and social justice. As the defacto chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Pastoralists Society of ASAL Network (PSAN), Quresha plays a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring its commitment to its mission. Quresha is a strong advocate for women’s rights and gender equality within pastoralist communities. She has been instrumental in implementing programs that promote women’s empowerment, education, and economic opportunities. Her leadership has helped to break down traditional gender barriers and create a more inclusive and equitable society.

Mr. Khalid Abdi Ahmed seasoned professional with a proven track record in forging strategic partnerships and building the capacity of organizations. Brings extensive experience in identifying and securing partnerships, cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders, and developing sustainable partnerships. Committed to empowering communities and driving positive social change.
